Junior Men's Team:

Our Junior Men's team have finished up for this year but we are always looking for new players to join.

Juvenile Section:

What a successful weekend for our Juvenile Section. Our u10's kick started the winning ways when they got their hands on some medals by winning their blitz on Saturday. After many years without a Juvenile team at competitive level, our u12's mix team secured a league title on Saturday against title contenders Beann Eadair. It was a winner gets all match and Beann Eadair really put it up to our boys and girls. Final score was 5-06 to 2-06. Thank you Beann Eadair for a hard fought battle all year. This was a bitter sweet day as our girls that play on the mix team are required to split due to GAA rules. We wish them and all the girls on our new u12's Girls team the best of success. We are also delighted to announce we have a NEW u10's Girls team (girls born 2007/8). The u10's girls have their 1st game v Roundtowers at home on Saturday, please come out and support our girls embarking on their first match. We now have 3 girls teams, u8's, 10's and 12's. With such a growth spurt in teams, we are actively looking for new mentors and helpers to join us to organise and manage our growing Juvenile club. You do not need to have coaching experience as we can provide coaching courses. Each team also requires help with other aspects of running a team such as coordinating matches with other clubs, collecting and managing subs and memberships, so even if you don't know much about Gaelic Football, you might have great organisational skills which are a great benefit to all our teams.

October's subs of €10 is now due. If anyone has any queries, please contact any of the mentors and we will be more than happy to help.

******We are always looking for new players at all levels, so if anyone knows of girls or boys interested in trying GAA, let them know they are very welcome to come along. We are also looking for people to help with all aspects of the club from fundraising to team mentors. Anyone interested in mentoring does not have to have experience as training courses are available in the coming weeks. Volunteering to help your club does not have to involve many hours per week, if you only have 1 or 2 hours per week, we appreciate all the help you can offer. If you are interested in joining our rapidly growing club, please contact anyone from our executive committee*******
