CLUB NOTES FOR W/ENDING SUNDAY 31st APRIL 2017   24/04/2017

Our Cycle Rally is back again for 2017. This year we are changing things up a little, we will have the traditional Senior Cycle Rally from Kilnamanagh to Glendalough and back but NEW for this year will be the Junior Rally! The Junior Rally is a much shorter cycle that will take place within the local area and will be open to everyone from young to old-er. Get the bikes out and start cycling!

Hard luck to the Junior Men's team who were beaten by the narrowest of margins in the Championship against St Judes. We'd like to wish St. Judes the best of luck as they progress in the Championship. Training for the Junior Men's team is from 18.45 - 20.00, Tuesdays and Thursdays in Kingswood. Next match up for the Junior Men's team is the Parsons Cup on 2nd May against Thomas Davis. The venue is Kingswood, throw-in at 19.00 and as much support as possible would be greatly appreciated for this big match. We'd like to say a BIG Thank You to The Kingswood Lodge who have sponsored a set of jerseys for our Junior Men's Team.

Training this Wednesday for the u8's (boys and girls) and u9's at 15.30, the u10's from 16.30 and the u12's 17.30. The Academy and non-match Juvenile teams is from 10.30 on Saturday morning from 10.30. Juvenile Matches confirmed at this time for next Saturday 29th April are:

u12's v Whitehall Colmcille - Venue: Kilnamanagh, Throw-in at 12.15.

******We are always looking for new players at all levels but have a particular need for Girls and Boys born in 2005/2006 for our u12's team. Due to GAA regulations, our u12's will split next season into 2 teams to form a Girl only and Boy only team. So if anyone knows of girls or boys in this age category interested in trying GAA let them know they are very welcome to come along*******.

ALL Membership renewals are now OVERDUE and need to be returned with completed membership forms as soon as possible so that players can be registered with the County Board. This is particularly important as unregistered members will not be covered by the Club Insurance in the event of an accident.

Our Monthly Draw takes place on the last Sunday of each month in the Kingswood Lodge and is limited to 150 tickets at a cost of €5 each, prizes are 1st - €200, 2nd - €75, 3rd - €25, 4th - €25 and 5th - €25.  Tickets are available through a number of club members and some tickets will also be available on the night of the draw.
